Extremely dirty best in tank substrate

I love the colors but the black rocks made everything in my tank dirty. I even washed the stones several times before adding them. Not worth the headache and frustration.

Do not use in an aquarium with frequent water changes

I used it for my messy betta tank, not a good idea as bettas need frequent tank cleanings and water changes and flushing those rocks is pretty rough

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Looks good, meets expectations

This aquarium gravel has met my expectations. It glows under the blue "glofish" light and is colorful in normal lighting. It was just a tight fit for our 5 gallon tank.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Protection

I don't know if it's bad.

The color of the stones is fading. I washed the stones before putting them in the aquarium and my water turned blackish bluish. They washed it many times, and the water still turned the color of a stone in it. I don't know if it's bad.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • I will add later

Too much color in the stones, even after rinsing!

I can't in my right mind give these stones 5 stars. A bluish-black powder color comes off the stones, I wouldn't put them in my tank. So I didn't. The bag that the stones came in was very dusty with the cheap paint, it reminds me of some discount store bread bags that use cheap font paint and somehow always stay on your fingers. My bucket of water that turned the rocks blue-black. Even my bucket/tub had paint residue.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Repair
