Easy installation, first spray some penetrating oil, take an 18mm ratchet wrench and lock the other key. Pull firmly but slowly toward the wing. Replaced this in 10 minutes and fixed the idle spike problem on my 07 LBZ DURAMAX.

Seems to be working well. No more low pressure codes putting my truck into emergency mode. Not very practical when towing a 30ft trailer in traffic. However, I did learn how to quickly erase roadside codes. 07 Duramax with 170,000 miles. Go strong.

Great little detail fixed a problem I had for years. Little did I know I really had a fuel psi problem. No codes, just lack of power and weird vibrations under full load. Well, that's taken care of. 20 minutes to install and my Duramax is back to how it was years ago.

My father in law lly kept clicking the fuel pressure regulator and sending the truck into limp mode. So I pulled the codes, did a little research and settled on this valve to fix the problem. In short, it's a standstill where the problem is fixed and hasn't come back since.

The description says that the valve, and that is a plug. I looked into the plugs and decided to install as everything was ripped apart to install the injector and I didn't have time to wait for the real valve to show up. Leakage after installation is tightened to specification. I ripped it all apart and removed it, assuming the o-ring was damaged, but it was fine, so I reinstalled the o-ring from the stock valve and tightened to spec, but that didn't work either, so I did I reinstalled the…
