Perfect little van

Great little van, just what I needed. I'm not a kid but I needed something to roll around the garden and move small things from place to place. I have mobility issues and found it difficult to make numerous round trips. Then I remembered the little car my mother drove in. They were nowhere around so I went online. It took me a little time to assemble it due to my mobility and balance issues, but a person with no issues would have no difficulty. The instructions are clear and as long as you have

Radio Flyer is a good old company!

I love my red car. I have big wheelbarrows and a plastic garden cart that's just annoying. I needed something to carry plants, pots and tools and that was it. It also has a nostalgia bonus factor. Mine arrived very well packaged. Took me about half an hour to assemble (better with two) and when I lifted the fourth wheel to put it on I saw that it had a serious dent right near the hub. I managed to get it fitted but suspect it will fail prematurely or rust so I tried contacting Revain for a…

I've always loved the radio flyer!

We had an old aviator with a radio that finally died after about 50 years (of course being pulled behind a cart might help). Definitely we had to replace it as we use it for dragging and dropping things and having fun with sometimes little people. It was the right price and the right size. We had a "joy" putting it together. It wasn't difficult. The only complaint I have about it is the wheel covers. With old and original hubcaps, they cover most of the wheel - they were essential. These are…

I'm a kid again! on tricycles, scooters and vans

This classic red Radio Flyer Van takes me back a good 65 years to the van I had on the farm. It was my favorite car as a kid and you won't believe how versatile it was for me growing up! Now, at the age of over 70, I bought this station wagon. For what reason? I wanted something that would allow me to transport salt blocks for my water softener from my car to the lower level of my house so I could easily take garden garbage bags (heavy and bulky) to the curb for collection around town and carry

Crumpled product. Bad quality control.

Received this van and just opened it to give my grandson for Easter. The body remained undamaged, however the rear edge of the van was completely bent and in need of repair and the front right side had a noticeable dent. Since there was no damage to the box, all I can say is that the car was packed with this damage. I think I deserve a refund as this item wasn't cheap. How can you ship a damaged item? How dare you. Your quality control sucks. I fixed the van as best I could because it was too…

Trip to the past.

I saw the price of this beautiful red steel commemorative wagon and had to buy it! It only cost $80 to go back in time. I remember being transported in a Radio Flyer van when I was a kid. My older brother used to drag me down the street or over bumpy ground. The best memory is the rumble our car made as we picked each other up. Now that I'm an adult I wanted to give my kitty some fresh air outside so I bought her this van. I also have a kennel cage that fits on the trailer bed so she can sit…

  • Minor issues

Okay I need to act age appropriate. But I was inspired to buy a van like mine for my granddaughter's second birthday. The Radio Flyer film Rise (available on the Radio Flyer website and on YouTube (the links were here but had to be removed, Revane says)) inspired meβ€”or propelled me. The film features a grandfather driving his grandson in a van the way my siblings drove our Radio Flyer in the '60s and '70s. After acclimating my granddaughter a bit, I found a small step and climbed up behind her…
