👓 Hassle-Free American Reading Glasses with Magnifying Functionality Review

Bought this product to repair electronics. They were fine for a little over a month. A lens fell off and won't hold. The physical connection to the lens was a loose friction-type fastener. No threads, just 2 very small rivets. I hope the pair I received was a mistake and not the way each pair is made.

I didn't see any difference in the selection as I thought they were all created equally for the task at hand. I'm going to send these back as I can't see them. I read a lot and work on the computer at the same time. They don't help me with reading and computer work. But that's my personal issue with them, someone else might just find it appropriate. I can't talk about strength and clip because. we go back.

I didn't know what magnification to use. For OTC reading glasses, I usually use 2.25x. I contacted the seller and explained that the higher the magnification the closer I needed to be to the computer (which is the purpose of my purchase) and suggested using 1.5x which they sell. I am very happy with them. I feel comfortable working on my glasses with these clips.

Loose nuts that attach the lenses to the clip. One fell off almost as soon as I put it on and I couldn't find the little nut. For a while I was still able to use them and tried to tighten the other nut on the other side, but this is difficult as the fat head is rounded. In the end I managed to lose the other nut that kept unscrewing and now they are useless except for the right eye only monocle.

Exactly what I was looking for. Good price and excellent quality. However, if you are looking for something "beautiful" then this is not it. Of course you can see that in the picture. Update: I changed my rating to 3 stars: the black bridge is really ugly. It's not a problem at home, but I use them when I go to meetings and look in the mirror - it probably distracts people who have to look at me. What disappoints me is not the uniqueness of this clip but that the lens height is only 40mm. Actually it's about the same as my regular glasses, but when I look down I see a gap between the glasses and the clip on the reading glasses. It distracts me. I feel like if the lens clip was a few stupid millimeters longer it wouldn't bother me that much.
