Does not fit Kendon pendant neck.

If you order a kendon motorcycle trailer it won't fit, also the amount of metal that makes up the bottom latch is 30% thinner so I didn't trust it anyway.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Bolt longer than competitor

Bolt was 1 1/2 turns longer than competitor. This allowed me to close with a clenched fist or palm without using a sledgehammer. It holds the bullet securely without tearing off the chrome finish.

Pros
  • As always
Cons
  • drilling package

Ball 2 inches. I'm a bit worried because

2 inch ball. I'm a bit concerned as I had to keep the nut all the way through and didn't get much thread. If I over tightened it was impossible to get on the ball.

Pros
  • wow
Cons

Luckily I managed to put a part of myself together.

I didn't see what size ball this particular model was so I took a chance and hoped it would fit a 1-7/8" ball. Unfortunately it's made for a 2 "-Ball. Luckily I managed to get a part from the old clutch that I needed to make it work.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Decent clutch - no nyloc nut?

The clutch seems to work well and seems reliable. It comes with a retained locking pin, which is a nice touch. No nyloc nut is supplied. Every one I've seen, including the broken one, I have. I don't understand how an ordinary mother can't loosen up over time. This is probably an unlikely scenario, but it could mean life or death, or it could be. I just reused my old nut until I could mount a new one.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some flaws

No instructions, probably used

The product looks worn or slightly used (tarnished lever, rounded nut and other metal abrasions, locking pin that has lost the ability to close), came without original packaging, no instructions, and after downloading the instructions from Reese it has an additional part (3rd picture below right). An extra part can keep the nut from loosening after the parts are assembled and the springs are relaxed (4th pic)? I think it would work for my situation (mainly for garden use) but if it's a trailer…

Pros
  • Nice appearance
Cons
  • There are cons
