Perfect solution to a cheaply made BEATS construcion. After you get over the shock that your expensive Beats headphones broke, and that Apple bought this company who charges a lot of money and uses such shoddy construction and parts, this will fix your Beats at least temporarily until you can afford a new pair of headphones by a better manufacturer.

Got my beats solo HD for free by a friend because a speaker was broken and they were falling apart. Just got it in the mail and it was broken so what I did was I took the rubber part off and put it on my old plastic part and it looks like the rubber part is too big this was a waste of money and time

Worked for about 6 months, then the same problem of the fusion peeling away from the headset happened again. I don't know if I am doing anything weird to make this happen, but I take good care of them and put them in their case when not in use.

Did not fit my Dre Solo headphones. It was too long in length to fit. I tried a million different ways to get it on or force it but it is just not made right, I see others had this problem and others did not, must be different sizes being sent? Oh well. Small loss. Not going to even bother returning, so much for trying to repair mine, just went out and bought a brand new pair of the solo hd's.

Although the replacement itself is inexpensive, it should be known that you have to have a special tiny screwdriver with a "star-shaped" head to remove the screws and put in the replacement. Although evident if you look closely at the headphones it is worthy of mention, perhaps you can order this piece and the screwdriver you need at the same time and avoid waiting to get the appropriate tool.

Did not fit perfectly i had to cut the end off some. And the sticky strips to hold it in fell of instantly. I used two sided tape to hold it on. Also it took for ever to ship and when i tried to cancel the order the seller was not very helpful.

Would not recommend as a replacement. I ended up just using the cover and not the foam since it is so thin. You'd be better off buying a like material from a fabric store since you'll have to glue the cover anyway.

My son has been wearing his headset without this cushion for some time.But now he says "man Pops I didn't realize how much more comfortable theheadphones are with this cushion in place"

I had to do some research to find the correct model name/ID of my Beats before ordering. Once I figured out which pieces of the old padding I needed to remove, this piece snapped right into place. You do need to work the rubber in around the edges a bit to get a seamless fit, but the piece now fits perfectly. The original cords for my Beats were garbage, so I added a new set of those as well. The ear pads are getting worn, so I'll shop for those next. I paid something like $170 for these…

Does not fit Solo HD headphones. It's very close but it's not the same. It only clicks half way on. Will return. The item didn’t fit in the right way... and unfortunately have no photo as i threw them in the trash.!

I needed to buy a new cushion because mine mysteriously fell off on the way home one day. The warranty from Beats by Dre is horrible (if you've had them for over a year, forget about it!). This piece snapped right into place and my headphones are back to being as good as new!

My headphones looks as new again, easy to install. I am very happy and recommend it for both SOLO and SOLO HD The replacement pad may cause your headphones to feel heavier than usual.
