Confirmed pairing issues

This is a very reliable and high quality product which is why I bought it. The only problem is that my Kuat 2 inch bike rack doesn't fit in the end of the receiver. I could only swing it halfway, but I gave up and sent it back. I don't know if they are all like this or if I have one that is a little too narrow I really wanted this one to work as it is long enough to clear my bumper.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

Believe 5 star reviews. Highly recommended.

Believe all five star reviews. This is a heavy quality product. If you need to lower the hitch height to pull something, this beast will get the job done. Add my 5 star rating to the list. Also, I bought a clutch clamp to tighten the connection between the clutch and the receiver. This eliminates game-related clanking and rattling noises in the downpipe. However, this does not affect my assessment of the clutch itself. 5 stars.

Too low for my Cooper

Bought a 6" Roadmaster drop/extender to flatten my MiniCooper. Attached to Tiffin, BlueOx secured, everything looked smooth and I was good to go. I found the 6-inch drop to be too low even though everything was flat, and I dragged it around as I rode over an uneven surface. Luckily I was on a test drive and not an intercity trip. I returned/exchanged a Roadmaster extension with a 4" drop. Works great, doesn't rub on asphalt. Revain did not raise any objections to the exchange, and the…

Exactly what I needed.

I had to lower the RoadMaster Falcon II hitch 4" in the RV to get a level hitch as recommended by RoadMaster. I bought this unit because it is made by Roadmaster and I feel that Roadmaster makes two products of the highest quality. Construction, materials, design and welding are excellent. The coloring is good but I'm sure the color will rub off with use but it's not a big deal. This is a RoadMaster product, buy with confidence. I enjoy doing business with Revain, mostly because of the return…

Clutch issues.: Clutches

Great clutch riser but 'matching' problem when using the Blue Ox Aventa clutch connected to the riser. Let me explain what I found. First I had to remove the metal from the Roadmaster receiver to fit the Aventa clutch. Then when I tried to use the Blue Ox clutch stabilizer, the u-bolts would not go around the Roadmaster riser bar end. The corners on the Roadmaster's handlebars are squarer (if there's a word) than the Blue Ox stabilizer U-bolts. Additionally, the position of the welds on the…
