Bezel fits Jeep perfectly. Less than 1/4 inch between 4WD shift knob and fairing. I used Stark and another brand like a 4x4 channel or something for the switches. I had to trim the top edges of the switches so they could properly swing to the on position. Also, they fit very snugly together, so I shaved the sides of the switch caps and the sides of the switch housings to get a perfect fit. I had to start by putting in the center part first and then moving on to the sides.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Much

I have a standard jeep. The part didn't fit without an "more than it takes" deal of casting deburring, grinding and corner shaping, and just some blacksmithing to get it on my dash. And the cutouts for the switches don't match. Not sure what switches they plan to use, but I've had mic setups as well as cheaper, narrower ones, and none fit the full 4 front panel switches as intended. Lesson learned. I went with the built in toggle module and couldn't be happier!

Pros
  • Solid build
Cons
  • Bad impression

He missed, but not with his knuckles.

I was looking for a clean switchboard alternative. Unfortunately this is not the case. The design puts it too close to the transfer case lever and it really just changes how you should shift between 2-hi. This will cause several bloody sore joints on the trail. In addition, the switches are too close together, the installation was tight, and the switches get stuck on the mounting edge. I haven't plugged it in yet, I'll ride it for a few days and see if I can get used to it, but honestly it'll…

Good product that works well

This product was exactly what I wanted to install easily accessible switches that didn't get in my way. The assembly of the product itself is quick and easy, it fits perfectly and matches in color. The only problems I have are very minor. The derailleurs I wanted to use were snug fitting and required some modification on the top edge to allow them to swing easily in either direction without rubbing on the edge of the rim. Another problem is switchplay. Some changes can be made to the design to…

Great price and relatively easy installation.

They fit my 18 year old JK perfectly. The color is more gray than black but looks nice. It holds the Rugged Ridge switches perfectly. The cutouts on the top are quite difficult to cut. I've had the best luck with a good sharp utility knife and just the tip to cut through. As you go deeper, the blade's kerf will bind, making it difficult to cut. Use gloves to avoid cutting yourself. ExtremeTerrain has a great installation video that shows you how to remove and install the standard panel. I chose

Good switch console

I bought this console to replace the Daystar I was using. I liked the fact that the top one gave me more space under the console. Unfortunately, it has the same problem as the Daystar console. The switches just don't work. There isn't enough depth for the switch with the attached wire to not sag at the bottom. If you use a cheap switch you will break the terminal. Make sure you use the quality switch. I broke two cheap switches. They were provided as part of a light wiring kit. I ended up…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Good but not great

Works great - recommended with a caveat

I was concerned this would be a problematic install based on reviews saying it wouldn't fit properly on Jeep JK dashes but it was easy if You can't worry about tearing up the dashboard of your wife's jeep. Don't worry, the factory console edge released from the anchors with a smooth, steady lift. Put a block of wood in the gap to keep it in place. A Harbor Freight plastic trim tool pulled out the factory mesh/panel in no time. I bought inexpensive round LED panel switches and installed them all

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Has flaws
