This gasket replacement replaced an old impulse welder that was now working like new again. Ten pieces look like they will outlive one. Just make sure you use the sealant on the lowest level that works and don't increase it as this can cause the healing sealant to char and break down until the pouch is sealed.

They didn't fit my specific gasket (1/2 inch shorter), but the teflon strip was so much better than others I've used that it deserves 5 stars. I wish I could just buy these strips. This completely changed my huge gasket needs and I was able to find the right size item elsewhere. Be sure to measure the actual length of your item and compare before purchasing.

If you're not willing to make some relatively simple adjustments to the inside of the sealant, this may not be for you. The ends of the heating element are attached to thin, springy brass strips at each end of the sealant. Separate the sealant. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the bottom cover and use small pliers to bend both brass strips until the small tabs on the attachment reach the ends of the new heating element.
