Good and bad computer cases

Arrived bent on one side but didn't want to return it for the others. The GPU mount could use more detailed instructions. I don't think the screws needed for this were included because I just couldn't find any that worked with them. Generally a good case in terms of building materials. Quality control and instructions may require some work. I wouldn't buy this case again because it's actually not that small.

Fantastic cooling, construction nightmare.

Magical when finished (although the finished build weighed 20lbs so is a lot heavier than it looks) and it has amazing airflow - I get better temps than my ATX build. This uses the RX 580 and Ryzen 7 1700 with the Wraith Spire cooler; They barely fit, but the fit in general was a big surprise for a mini-ITX build. Being both a Mini-ITX and a Silverstone case, assembly was certainly a nightmare, and even with a fully modular power supply, wiring was nearly impossible. Also, don't forget to haveโ€ฆ

Bad airflow. I built a HTPC/SteamBox with this case

Poor airflow. I built a HTPC/SteamBox with this case. I chose low TDP components - a Pentium SkyLake processor and an nVidia GTX 950 GPU. The entire system is powered by a 300W power supply. The system stays cool and quiet during media playback and general use like web browsing. Although games are a different story. Being an HTPC build, it's meant to be placed in a media center. This is where the problem begins - the GPU air intake is located on the bottom of the device. As a result, when theโ€ฆ

A beautiful case! c External Components

Amazing how it looks once assembled, but installing all the components (including the optical drive) takes a long time. I spent 7 hours building the whole computer. But now that I've had it for over a month, I don't regret the purchase at all!
