PRO: THIS IS A GOOD LEATHER REPAIR KIT. WHAT I LOVE IS THE MULTICOLORED PIECES OF THREAD THAT MATCH AND BLEND INTO PRACTICALLY ANY SKIN COLOR YOU NEED FOR A REPAIR! Small but functional, good value for money

As mentioned, the tools in this set are quite small - smaller than they should be. However, they are functional and I was able to repair a leather briefcase with minimal effort. I widened and recut about 100 holes with no problem, no doubt that's where I saved the cost of the kit. I think it's probably better as a repair kit than a new work kit, although I'm not sure the tools will hold up to the first punching or sewing.

Excellent kit. Highly recommended

Very good set for the price. The needles are good and strong, the threads are of high quality. With their help I have easily repaired backpacks, oven mitts and various leather goods. I mainly used them to make canvas tool bags. I made a roll for all my sharpening stones, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers and more. A very strong thread that holds tight and makes very nice projects. Good selection of needle sizes and shapes for almost any project. Highly recommended.

Ideal for needlework

I used this to fix a broken seat in a GM car. The gray included in the kit matches it perfectly and I managed to make the seat MUCH better. The thread is very strong and coated with wax, making the stitches very easy to tighten. I broke one of the pins when I was done, but I think it was more my fault than the pins. Given the price of the kit, I highly recommend it. I definitely recommend using needle nose pliers to push the needle through the skin or you'll end up with serious pain in your…

Very Impressed Good for Leathercraft

Spoke placement and dimensions are great! The thread itself is also very strong. Part of the armrest of my door started to fall apart. Everyone I called either couldn't give any guarantees or told me to buy a new door, which just wasn't profitable for me. I took a chance and decided to try my hand at their firmware! It is by no means a perfect optic versus the factory optics. but it did its job and is still acceptable to the eye! Much better than having everything fall apart and the foam…
