Dries quickly on Car Care

This oil dries quickly and leaves a sticky residue. I do not recommend. I've read stories about skin becoming more brittle over time. I think I'll stick with my mink oil.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Nice stuff for boots

This is leather impregnation oil and very good stuff! Immediately absorbed. Gives off that leathery scent and protects my boots from rain and cracking in the hot Texas summer.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • So so

The kerosene smell is the best in interior maintenance

This product went straight into the leather handle of the hammer I rebuilt. The bottle says $4.99. The customer rep said it was a 50/50 mix; mineral oil and foot oil. I'm sending it back because I'm not satisfied with this product due to post-drying; the skin smelled of petroleum. After sending this back I got a fibing mink oil bath! This is the first time that I am not satisfied with a product from this company!

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Weight

Not just for shoes

So I didn't originally buy it for shoes. I actually bought it to touch up some of the leather work on the sword. I've tried darkening the skin around the grip and ricasso and it worked great without loosening the fit, which bothered me a lot. After it dries it feels smooth and comfortable and I hope the person I was giving it to thinks so too. I need to repair my boots and armor with this thing because it looks damn good. BTW, in case anyone is wondering, it didn't work that bad on carbon steel

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Not sure

Sof Sole Neatsfoot Oil

Just about every kid can't wait to get out on the field and play ball in their first new baseball glove. With this product you will buy a new baseball glove almost immediately. Yes, it can be used on all kinds of leather products. I first encountered this product as a child many years ago and have been using it ever since. I've been talking, talking, talking for over 55 years. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT FOR LIGHT SKIN. This is an oil based leather product that will soften hard leather but…

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Communication with Seller

It might be the perfect product for some problems but not for me. I run a small organic business and purchased this item to help make leather conditioner, beeswax and lanolin. A customer gave me a sample of an air conditioner that came with a leather wallet purchased on Etsy so I could reproduce it as accurately as possible. Before that I had never heard of anesthetic oil, so I had no idea that the smell of gasoline is a bad sign and does not indicate 100% anesthetic oil but mixed with…

  • Free for educational purposes
