Great product in industrial electronics

I was trying to fix a 10 gauge wire that was cut by a backhoe. I tried using butt connectors from the local hardware store but they didn't cut it. The wire was so thick that when the wire was moved they came loose. You are strong as a rock. After crimping they didn't seem to move at all, just to be on the safe side I added some solder which was easy to do as there was no insulation on the butt connector. The shrink tubing was really big, but it shrunk really well. This was the best heat shrink…

repaired a buried subway line with her help. Perfect!

I made sure I had a good crimping tool as mentioned in other comments. I used dialytic lube before crimping. Just because I had some. For the heat shrink tubing, I just used butane grill starter. And it worked great! I was a little apprehensive about using an open flame for heat shrink tubing, but it was listed as an option in the instructions. I never thought this would be possible with regular heat shrink tubing. I heated it up and right at the end of the shrink the sealant started flowing…

The best submersible well splicing kit I have ever used.

These kits work very well. The metal crimp is heavy to make a connection, but the crimp is easy to crimp. Shrink tubing is great. They are thick, have good shrinkage, and at the end of the heat sealing process, once tightened, the sticky sealant releases from the inside of the tube, forming an excellent watertight seal. If you need to make a double connection because the ends of the wires aren't touching, the heat shrink tubing shrinks and seals over the previous tubing that was already…
