Has worked great for 2 years. They get very hot

They have worked great in my Stratux for several years. They heat up terribly. It was only a matter of time before they burned out. They are so small that radiators cannot be attached to them. The new version of the Stratux software periodically turns on the fans, preventing radios from cooling properly in a closed or vented case. I'm ordering another set but they burn out over time.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Works perfectly. for computers and accessories

Received with Dmurray14 antenna kit. Installed in a transparent case with a fan. Instant intercourse on both right in my living room. I was arguing about buying a Narco 2 Mini Plus but for the price I was happy that these two tuned/tagged/tested cost a little more than Narco's price. The advantage is that everything fits in the case (except for the antennas).

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • confused

So far, so good. I only had them on my ship.

So far, so good. I've only had them on the ship a couple of times but they worked flawlessly and because they fit in your case they don't interfere with cables and are easier to charge without a power outage thanks to the use of a USB extender.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Low-maintenance

Okay but they heat up very quickly

This is a USB radio for Statux which is a home made ADB-S solution. They work well, but they heat up quickly and there really isn't a good way to get heat away from them.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Small size, great performance for a Stratux project

Much better than the old USB stick style SDRs. I wish they were there before the old style was created, glad I switched to Nano Tuned. Matches well with DMURRAY14 kit.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Some bugs
