Bought a few days ago for my kids who are big Star Wars fans. I put 3 batteries in each saber, turned off the light and started the game. Awesome sound effects, light modes, and even the ability to attach it to the base to form a large, double-edged lightsaber. Note: Batteries are not included. Make sure you have 3 AAA batteries for each saber.

There have been many complaints about these bugs. But right in the box there's a note that they can't be used for wild fights. This is a plastic toy. If abused, it will break. I bought a set of 4 and none have broken yet. Even the one given to a four-year-old feral child. Good product for the price. VERY loud sound effects, but one shot with no sound 🎉

Bought these for my boys who are Star Wars obsessed. They lasted about two weeks. The guys tried not to hit her hard, but one broke at the top anyway. The metal parts in the battery compartment are removable, so it stops working every few minutes. Sound doesn't work anymore after 2 weeks. They're cool when they light up and make noises, but I've never seen my kids be more careful with a toy and they're still broken in less than a month.

Visited Disney for the first time with our 5 year old. He loves Star Wars and the new Star Wars rides and was trained as a young Jedi. UPDATE: 3 months. in. All four lightsabers are now broken. My kids play with this about once a week so they must have become unstable over time and not all are broken and unusable.
