Worked great for my LED display this Christmas

Worked great for my LED display this Christmas. Affordable and high quality cable. Much cheaper than I could buy at my local electronics store.

Don't waste money!

Very cheap wire, if you want to shrink it's not the end, everything is fine anyway any positive wire will melt. Too bad I'll be using it this year, but I'll be sure to get new wires next year. You have to redo your work twice, that sucks.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • A bit snapped

Good Price Electric Cable

I have purchased this product before and have always had good results. I've just used 400ft on 4 reels and this was the first time I've seen a 500ft reel. The only downside to cables is that soldering will melt the insulation if you use too much heat. I would like the product more if it was available for 3/c 16 AWG. This is good quality copper wire.

Pros
  • Best in its niche

Excellent LED strip cable

I am using this for a WS2812b strip to carry power and signal several meters. I didn't know it was Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) when I ordered which is a plus for me and surprised me given the relatively low price. High quality materials, easy to cut, strip, solder, etc. Voltage drop could be a big problem in my project, but this cable handles it well.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Empty

Not for addressable RBG LEDs

The wire itself is fine but the 3 wires are twisted together inside the outer insulation damaging the green signal wire from the field created by the red and black wires flowing current is generated. For Neopixel address strips (WS2811/WS2812/WS2813), the green signal wire must be separated from the others, or the 3 wires must be parallel and flat to minimize data line signal distortion.

Pros
  • Fun
Cons
  • Some issues

Great wire, good for electrical wiring

I was replacing the fluorescent lights in my garage with LEDs and needed custom wire lengths that would exceed the wires that came with the new LED lights. This cable meets all requirements. The wire gauge for the 500 ft spool is true to size and the copper strands are sized to allow stripping without breaking the copper strands. The white case is also durable and appears to be able to pass unscathed.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Volume

On time and amazing quality.

Package arrived as promised. The wire is coiled tightly, nice and tidy and ready to use! The wire is of excellent quality, easy to solder. Just be aware that when you apply solder to the wire (tinning the wire), the wire's insulation will recede a bit. As a result, you need to compensate for the overall length of the wire, so when tinning the wire with solder you may have to cut the wire itself so you don't have a lot of bare wire when you solder the point.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Very expensive
