I really wanted a decent brain model and it seemed like a good deal for the price, but the numbers look handwritten and a bit blurry and the coloring doesn't look well thought out. Most frustratingly, the stand that the model comes with doesn't look like the picture at all! It's just a round notch on a flat surface. I was very disappointed with that. If it were possible to contact the seller directly I would, I hope this is a mistake.

Excellent, inexpensive brain model. It has large parts marked with numbers, particularly the cranial nerves. He also has a key. If you want to go further, the details are there. One half is roughly separated from the corpus callosum, showing the location of the thalamus, caudate nucleus, and putamen. It also accurately reproduces furrows and whorls of the bark. If you want to apply additional numbers, I recommend painting over them. Markers are even erased by Sharpie.

I actually bought the brain of this model used with a $10 discount. (no original box/packaging). I really don't understand the negative reviews about the model itself or the stand. Both are made very thick and strong and are accurately illustrated in the extra. The only difference is that the stand is shaped to represent the brain, upside down showing the cerebellum, and the bottom of the brain facing up, rather than as in fig./ext.
