Very disappointed with slide and negative scanners

Very poor output resolution resulting in lots of noise and bad results. Supposed to be 20 megapixels, but my old 10 megapixel phone works better with slidescan apps.

  • Best in class
Cons

Allowed: Slide and negative scanners

Performs most of the work of converting slides to digital format. Easy to use. Image quality is okay - better than nothing, but disappointing compared to the richness of the original slides.

High quality product

Amazing product! User friendliness. Reasonable price. Takes old negatives and turns them into high quality digital files for printing or sharing on social media. Edited on faded negatives aged 90-100! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to save family photos.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • No instructions

Spend extra money

Great product. I was looking for other slide scanners for a lot less money, but after reading the reviews I decided to spend more for a viewing screen, tools, and multiple options for storing slides and negatives. It's worth the extra bucks to bring those old memories back to life.

Pros
  • Office supplies
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Okay Scanner for slides and negatives Scanner

This is a quick way to get cheap/free scans of medium format or 35mm film. It works. You get what you pay for. If you need or want these scans for light leaks, film testing, lens/camera testing, this might be the way to go. If you're scanning for a print or technical review, you can keep browsing.

  • Scanner
Cons

A good product! Suitable for slide and negative scanners

Works great. My grandfather and great-uncle were professional photographers. It was fun looking through all of their old negatives. The only problem is that I have oddly shaped negatives that are either too big to fit in the scanner or so small that they fall out of the adapters. All in all, I highly recommend this.

Pros
  • Slide and negative scanners
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Spend the extra money and buy a better quality scanner.

The images have a very strong bluish cast and are very saturated. The shots also almost lost detail, like someone went nuts with the sharpening and ginning tool. The first image is a frame from a professionally scanned frame, the second is the same frame scanned by this scanner. The result - the color balance and image quality is terrible, I do not recommend this scanner to anyone.

Pros
  • Scanners and accessories
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
