## What is LBank

LBank is a centralised crypto exchange at lbank.com, operated by LBK Exchange; LBank says it was founded in 2015. It offers spot and futures trading, copy trading, earn products such as staking, and a payment card issued through partners. LBank publishes no licence on its own pages.

## Good to know

- The operator's only registration found in a regulator's register of authorised or registered firms is a US FinCEN money services business registration of LBK Exchange Limited (trading as LBank), signed 20 April 2026. It is a registration, not a licence. [↗](https://msb.fincen.gov/)
- Although the operator is registered with FinCEN, LBank's terms say it does not open personal accounts for US residents or corporate accounts for US entities. [↗](https://www.lbank.com/support/articles/21436496711705)
- Japan's Financial Services Agency added "LBank Exchange" to its list of unregistered crypto-asset exchange operators in June 2024, for serving Japanese residents over the internet without registration. [↗](https://www.fsa.go.jp/policy/virtual_currency/angoushisan_mutouroku.xlsx)
- Malaysia's Securities Commission lists LBANK on its Investor Alert List (2023) for operating a digital asset exchange without registration. [↗](https://www.sc.com.my/regulation/enforcement/investor-alerts/sc-investor-alerts/investor-alert-list)
- Spain's CNMV warned on 9 September 2024 that LBANK (lbank.com/es) and LBK Blockchain Co. Limited are not authorised to provide investment services in Spain. - The terms contain two restricted-country lists that differ: for example, Belarus appears only in the second list, while Azerbaijan, Bangladesh and Uruguay appear only in the first. [↗](https://www.lbank.com/support/articles/21436496711705)
- The LBank Card is offered through regulated third-party partners, and the card may be issued by a partner rather than by LBank. [↗](https://www.lbank.com/support/articles/2072230660113694720)
- The LBank Card terms are governed by Singapore law with arbitration at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, unlike the main user agreement (British Virgin Islands law, Dubai arbitration). [↗](https://www.lbank.com/support/articles/2072230660113694720)
- Card payments in currencies other than the US dollar carry a 1.1% currency conversion fee. [↗](https://www.lbank.com/support/articles/2072230660113694720)
- The card terms also set a 0.8% spending fee on each authorised transaction and a USD 0.25 processing fee per transaction. [↗](https://www.lbank.com/support/articles/2072230660113694720)
- The USD 0.25 processing fee is charged even when a card transaction is declined, reversed or refunded. [↗](https://www.lbank.com/support/articles/2072230660113694720)
