And it’s still great. No cracks, chipping, or spiderwebbing. I’ve hand-washed it until now but I’ll but the only thing you may lose in the dishwasher is the gilding. These are the first slides I've owned (usually wear flip flops), but my daughter wears them, so I bought the black ones in 10 (I wear a 9 1/2 M shoe) and they fit well. I've worn them in the house for a week. They are soft and spongy, but I've noticed that after awhile, they pinch a little on the outside bone of my big toe (where the seam of the sole and top meet). Like most rubber boots, they run slightly large, but I expected that and bought the size I ordered on purpose. These will last two summers instead of one. The quality is amazing, and my toddler can put them on by himself (with proper R/L guidance) easily.
