LISK LSK

Since the introduction of the Internet, blockchain has been the greatest evolution, innovation or technological revolution in mankind. But early blockchains like Bitcoin were slow. One of the reasons for the release of LISK is the low speed of traditional blockchains. Currently, the most popular platform for creating decentralized applications is ethereum, but ethereum has a serious problem that lisk has solved. If you create a dapp on ethereum and that dapp is problematic in any way, it will…

Pros
  • It has more advantages than the popular blockchain (ethereum)
  • Lisk programming also makes it possible to leverage applications
Cons

Lisk reduced problems of scalability through sidechains

Lisk is a project founded in in 2016 by Max Kordek and Oliver Bedowsi with the objectives of providing a platform that can allow different developers to deploy their decentralized application from their own little blockchain onto the main blockchain. They achieved this by using modular cryptocurrency which make it possible for every blockchain apps to run on developers sidechains separate from the main. The technology use DPOS consensus mechanism to link all sidechains to the main…

Pros
  • It uses sidechains as apps location
  • It makes error handling better since errors are local only to the sidechains where the error emanated from
  • Lisk enables Developers to work in decentralized network where they can get bigger revenu
  • It gives developers freedom and certain level of security
  • Lisk is user friendly to both users and developers and involved more people in the network
Cons

Lisk A platform for decentralized application developers

Lisk's main objective is the massification of the Blockchain. Bringing blockchain technology to those sectors of the population that, for one reason or another, have not yet taking advantage of the advantages they offer. And they do this by providing developers with tools so they can more easily approach blockchains. Simplifying the programming language and interface they use them to create new applications. And thus becoming, a perfect chain for creating Decentralized Applications or dApps.

Pros
  • Lisk has her own digital wallet, so her community can easily store their LSKs, being available for desktop, as well as for iOS and Android. Also, several wallets of Importantly, they also offer support for Lisk, including Ledger and Atomic Wallet.
  • Implement smart contracts
  • This platform is open source
Cons
  • The value of the lisk token has been degrading over the years

An open source app development platform.

This is primarily unique because it brings blockchain application development to regular developers without having to ask them to learn a particular new language just to use the platform. JavaScript is the most popular language application, and the web itself is launched, so most developers are aware of it. Unlike Ethereum, which requires developers to learn its particular language Solidity or Bitcoin, which essentially runs in C ++, it is much more accessible to developers looking to build…

Pros
  • It is a decentralized application development platform that makes it possible for developers to create applications in JavaScript, accessible to the public.
  • It uses the concept of sidechains and a complete software development kit to allow developers to create separate blockchains under defaults and core platforms.
  • Sidechains are standalone blockchains that are linked to the main blockchain in such a way that they cannot damage or alter its speed and performance. It makes apps truly decentralized and independent entities within its blockchain.
Cons
  • Although not as old or established as Bitcoin, though it has a high ranking in terms of market caps, with its user-friendly development interface and accessible coding language, it is bound to show a up movement in the future.

Lisk, building decentralized applications becomes easier

Lisk (LSK) is a competing blockchain of Ethereum that was created by former Ethereum members: Max Kordek and Olivier Beddows. This blockchain offers many applications such as the creation of dApps (decentralized applications). Developers can build, publish, share and monetize their dApps (decentralized applications) on the Lisk blockchain. These are developed with JavaScript code and that's what makes all the difference with Ethereum dApps. To build dApps on Ethereum, you have to learn a…

Pros
  • Uses an existing language (JavaScript), which simplifies the work of developers
  • Attractive rewards for minors
  • Based on a Proof-of-Stake consensus which is much less energy consuming than the Proof-of-Work used by Bitcoin and Ethereum
Cons
  • Major competitors: Ethereum and Stratis
  • Risk that a small part of LSK holders control the delegates because they own the majority of tokens
  • Complex operation to understand

It is an open source blockchain application written in javascript. It enables developers to create distributed and manage decentralized blockchain application by deploying their own side chain linked to the lisk network. It attempts to be the first as a modular cryptocurrency. The blockchain is actually is on a separate side chain, separated from the main blockchain. This helps in scalability issues that many blockchains have issues with. It uses the Delegate Proof of stake(DPoS) algorithm…

Pros
  • It is decentralised, but also able to evolve without hard forking due to a flexible democratic system. Advantage of Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS), Very User-friendly Interface.
  • Sidechaining makes the network flexibility, fast, and scalable. Oriented Toward dApp Developers, Partnership on Microsoft/Azure Cloud.
  • It is made to be easy to use for developers. Developers can create their own custom blockchains that operate independently whilst benefiting from the security of Lisk’s main chain.
  • It is a modular cryptocurrency, the first of its kind. Modules are the basis of construction and design of this cryptocurrency. Due to this feature, anyone can use Lisk for individual app construction and create their own decentralized app.
  • Delegated proof of stake. Lisk’s consensus model is based on DPoS model where each of the LSK carries one vote and only first 101 users having heaviest votes will be able to cast votes to carry forward motions and have an in problem-solving resolutions.
  • It utilizes sidechain. One main risk that the blockchains are vulnerable is that it can be artificially bloated with test or fake transactions. The lisk’s side chain solution helps to overcome that issue. Side chains can be attached to the independent blockchain and serve as a place to put all the high volume transactions without interfering with the main blockchain.
Cons
  • Extended block time causing delay in transaction.
  • Problem with users while market perception/branded decreased.
  • Its project similar to ERC20/Ethereum which means anyone will see this in same ways.

lisk is the one of the most famous n outstanding project which is very good in blockchain just because of sidechain. otherwise it is really good in position n i think it will get really good position in future... otherwise awesome project.

Pros
  • Lisk is a blockchain application platform which is created to bring blockchain technology to the world through the Sidechain Development Kit ..Lisk most common aim is to become the foremost platform for blockchain application development in the world. i think lisk is really good cyprocurrency in market.

lisk is the very good choice of coin which is most famous in cryptomarket. sidechain based cryptocurrency although it is not fully developed but it will really get great scope in future

Pros
  • lisk is a good choice of coin which works by its own side chain . and this is the good quality of this coin. because anyone can or the user can create its own tokans and use that. due to sidechain it attracts many of the users to itself otherwise the transaction is good with low price. overalll in market very good coin
Cons
  • not much developed and theblocktime extended for much time.

Lisk

Lisk introduced sidechains to the cryptocurrency community as it is the first cryptocurrency to apply this innovation. Sidechains make the activity on the blockchain easier and faster as the transactions that are yet to be approved are not included to the main blockchain. Another feature is the opportunity to built custom applications on the sidechain. The project is aimed to solve many of the old problems associated with blockchain (slow transactions, spam, etc).

Pros
  • User-friendly interface, strong conception, the diverse functionality, welcoming for the applications developers who use JavaScript.
Cons
  • Lisk uses questionable DPoS consensus protocol, long block confirmation time period.

Endless developing

1. LISK, being a platform for sidechain, does not have a single sidechain. Sidechain does not provide infinite scalability, it is also expensive to build and secure. 2. The flagship product and LISK technology - SDK and sidechain, despite three years of development, have not yet been presented even in the Alpha version. 3. The only functionality of the LSK token is sending and receiving, voting for delegates and trading on exchanges. 4. Current LISK delegates are able to maintain their…

Pros
  • Lisk Academy Portal
  • Designe
  • dApps
  • dPOS - Delegated Proof of Stake
  • Transparency
Cons
  • Actual network activity is extremely low - every 7 blocks on average.
  • LISK, being a platform for sidechain, does not have a single sidechain.
  • Very long development without major release
  • For now very little functionality
  • In the last 3 months, only 5% of all LISK addresses remained active.
  • Delegates with controling major of token supply
  • sollutions by eth are safer and cheaper
  • microscopic market to overtake

It is a currency that is in development and it is promising that it can be implemented with different platforms, since it is compatible with many systems with java

Pros
  • It is easy to use the interface, it is structured in a way that there are not so many transactions that inflate the network. Because it is based on Java, therefore, a greater number of developers can create applications.
Cons
  • The main problem with this crypto is the verification of blocks that in some cases usually takes.

Lisk is a very good project that aims to help the developers build blockchain projects more efficiently. The UI of this platform can be used easily with not many efforts. DPoS is the consensus algorithm chosen to facilitate the network. However, that Lisk's SDK for developers has not been public yet and the block time of Lisk is a big minus

Pros
  • - Having a good sidechain that prevents the occurrence of floating network and helps the developers to build their own blockchain applications - Implemented a very user-friendly UI, Lisk is a platform that is very easy to use - Run on DPoS - a new and innovative consensus algorithm
Cons
  • - Extended block time - SDK has not been released yet

Is Lisk still a good choice?

Lisk token is a very interesting project. It seemed that the currency would come to a boom. But since last year has been losing value and today has not attracted much more attention from investors. It would be critical that the developers think about a revitalization of the project itself, in addition to an active publicity campaign. But, I believe that Lisk is a good project

Pros
  • Lisk - LSK is a blockchain application platform created in early 2016. This platform provides Blockchain through a Software Development Kit (SDK) written in JavaScript.
  • Lisk enables to developers to create, deploy decentralized Blockchain applications through their own sidechain linked to the Lisk network
  • Decentralized application network that uses smart contracts
  • The open source Lisk blockchain platform is powered by Lisk (LSK). Total supply of 132.967.072 LSK. At the moment Lisk is at 37° Crypto market ranking
  • The LSK token is being traded in a great number of exchanges
Cons
  • Lisk lost a lot of market value over the year 2017. It seems investors have lost interest in the currency. Perhaps because of the excess of competing currencies, investors have found better options

Blockchain Application Platform - Lisk

Unlike Bitcoin, the Lisk blockchain cannot be used to procure goods and services at the moment until wide adoption by programmers, developers, startups and other crypto fans is achieved. Nevertheless, the use of developer-friendly JavaScript may attract tech giants like Google and Microsoft on their network resulting in a boost in its value. Lisk founders Max Kordek and Oliver Beddows set out to create a vision to make Blockchain technology more accessible. Normally, for an individual to…

Pros
  • Independently operating side chains – allowing side chains to run on their own gives developers and companies an opportunity to customize the apps to their exact requirements. Failure in any of the side chains doesn’t affect the main chain.
  • Open source network – this means you can take a look at what other developers are working on and use the borrowed insight to improve your own Dapp.
  • High volume transaction and faster processing – the beauty of Lisk is that side chains run independently leaving the main chain active to pursue other functions. This results in high volume transactions being carried out in a short time span.
Cons
  • Less adoption – at the moment of this writing, the only well-known company that has partnered with Lisk is Microsoft Azure.
  • Basic programming required to run operations – Ethereum is quite easy to use and allows users to write an app in a language they understand best. For Lisk, the language used is strictly JavaScript, and individuals need to have some basic programming skills to run operations.
  • Less vibrant marketing efforts – bigger cryptocurrencies are making a lot of noise on social media sites like Slack, Twitter, and Telegram. Lisk as well needs to up their game by creating some buzz that will eventually expand its community.

Decentralized blockchain applications will be built on Lisk from the ground up in pure Javascript and take advantage of the powerful Lisk APIs. In addition, every app will run in its own sidechain to ensure that Lisk itself stays safe and scalable. In General, in my personal opinion, it is a wonderful platform. I rated 5 stars ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

Pros
  • Lisk has several advantages and improvements over similar blockchain platforms out there. Below are the 3 main points that stand out: 1. Build in JavaScript for JavaScript developers 2. Dapps run on their own sidechains 3. Delegated Proof of Stake vs PoW(Proof of Work) and PoS(Proof of Stake) It is too great in comparison to the other electronic currencies. and it is in the top of the head. truly deserve
Cons
  • In fact it is still a lot of problems to be able to perform properly as the roadmap. but I see in the DEV team they really are very good and Oh believe they
