The traditional blockchain assets have a lot of issues, including scalability, portability and backup. Current cryptocurrency wallets work on anonymously generated private keys, and every time the wallet needs a back up. If the back-up doesn’t happen properly or the user somehow loses the private key, the amount becomes impossible to recover. I favor PoSV over DPoS (delegate proof-of-stake) and other consensus mechanisms…

I favor PoSV over DPoS (delegate proof-of-stake) and other consensus mechanisms. I like how fast transactions are the equal opportunity for anyone to stake with ease. Very much looking forward to REDD-ID so that payment may be made to a registered name rather than public key string.

Pros
  • Extremely fast and cheap transaction times. Proof of Stake Velocity (PoSV) encourages use and staking based on coin age among other things thereby increasing network security and coins being spent rather than just HODLed.
Cons
  • Small team of developers that aren't very prolific in committing new features (e.g. REDD-ID)

Pros
  • Crypto wigs and nose/glasses combo and receiving bundling. Lazy writers would call it out of the box thinking, so I will do same here.
Cons
  • Putting a focus on the social aspect of money might be a mistake this early in the awakening and market adaption. It also might be the best thing to drive awareness. The project itself, the team, and the presentation remain impressive.
