UPDATE August 22, 2019: The GoScope customer service team contacted me shortly after I posted my first three-star review (below) to explain what I was getting the *new* custom case for I have Sony A6400 mirrorless camera. Accordingly, the newer version is designed in such a way that it does not require a foam insert for the lid, which I expected. However, to demonstrate their care and integrity, GoScope said they would send me a foam tray (with 3M adhesive) from the "old" case ALSO a copy of the old case so I could use whichever I prefer ! Guys, you can't do better customer service. In my original review, I said the case is well made and durable. My problem with it was solved - friendly, helpful and timely. So. Five stars. _____________________ When I first looked at this article, I could have sworn the photo illustrations show the foam insert in the "lid" - the part that closes on top of the camera. I've watched Bergsma videos on youtube (see screenshot of this and another video) and of course there was a foam tray in those videos too. In the case I received this was not the case; I don't know if I had a used case or a defective one from the factory. Just looking back at the Revain's case, the photos look like the foam insert has been darkened or washed out. The case is well made, but the lack of foam on the lid obviously reduces the security of my A6400 from falls or vibrations. The $45 price tag seems steep if that's the new normal. The inside of the case is of course shaped to fit the A6400 so the camera doesn't hang around, but now I think Bergsm's video might be misleading. Anyway, I don't think I could drop a $900 camera body and $500 lens in this case and expect them to survive the fall. Got something to say about that, GoScope?
