If you search here you already know that Nikon does not sell a replacement collar for the 200-500. When the knurled knob on the adjustment screw on my collar broke, I had to find a replacement quickly. This collar did its job perfectly. It is durable, fits well and is easy to place. It stayed tight and didn't need to be adjusted. a minus. If you want to quickly switch from landscape to portrait by untying the collar and rotating the camera, you can pay Really Right Stuff extra 200-500 for the collar. The only downside I see with this collar is that the LS left and back rotation is not as smooth as I would like. A funny note: Revain asked me to rate this collar for "transparency". I'm not sure why anyone would care, but if you do, it's not clean. ;)
