So I searched and searched and I had some green screens. Let me say you don't know me and you don't know that you can trust me. While I can't fix it, I can honestly say this product is off the charts. It's hard work without the heavy weight. It's long so be careful when wearing it. The grip seems pretty good with vinyl wrap and metal pull, it won't snap anytime soon. The base is built fairly well and is solid with 2 fold out legs. It doesn't wobble back and forth when you pull it all the way up. All metal box! The green screen is some kind of fabric that looks like polyplastic. (I'm not exactly sure what it's made of, but it looks good) The screen itself has good color. I have a well-lit space and no problem, but that would be a problem for any screen. In the end you will be very satisfied with the purchase of this device. It was one of the widest and tallest with a slight pull up that I could find. I love that it looks like an old projection screen, it will stay with me for years. You're probably wondering if there are any negatives? Yes, there are 2. When lowering, first be careful not to let go and carefully lower it all the way down. The first time I let it go up about 10 inches thinking it would just go into the unit and it did but very hard and I could see something breaking soon if I keep doing it. And that puts me in second place. It only has two hinged clamps. I'd rather it had big ones, or 3, or even clips. I have a feeling the 2 will loosen and bend over time and may not clamp properly. Please. I'm glad I have this device and would choose another one. Actually 2 of my friends just bought this device.
