Unusable in TTL mode. Do not buy if you need TTL

There is one star in the rating because this flash is not up to its main task: TTL. I have been working as a photographer on a Canon system for many years. I was excited about this flash because finally a flagship TTL flash was available for my Fuji X-T2. The problem is that this flash is completely unreliable in TTL mode. You never know what kind of exposure you're going to get. Sometimes overexposed, sometimes underexposed, sometimes right. You just don't know what you're getting from one frame to the next. I have to use this flash in manual mode to reliably get the right exposure, which made the purchase worthless to me. I could save my money and use my existing Canon flashes in manual mode if I wanted to shoot with flash in manual mode. After doing some research I saw others reporting the same TTL mismatch in Canon's version of this flash. So that's Godox's problem, not Fuji's. It would be an incredible flash if it actually worked. The lithium-ion battery sets new standards in the industry. It's far superior to the traditional power flash, and you only need to charge one battery. And the built-in radio transceivers mean less equipment when flashing off-camera. I really like this flash, but it's useless for TTL shooting. I hope they figure out how to get TTL working and fix it in a firmware update. Whether you're shooting with a manual flash on or off the camera, this flash is great. If you need TTL, you're out of luck. This flash is completely useless in TTL mode.
