Works, but not easy
The mechanic had to install this part on the trunk of a '02 Civic to replace a defective one. He could not get it to work without removing the attached safety latch that allowed him to get out of the locked barrel. As a result, they made it workable at the expense of security. Another product "Kinda-Fix" from Revain. Two stars deducted for another incorrect product description.
