Surprisingly good little kit

I have to say straight away I wasn't a big fan of Neewer products. Often these are very cheap products with very cheap build quality that just don't last long. LED bulbs also have an overload problem, so after a while the color will start to turn green or purple. I just wasn't very impressed with most of their products. I say that because I was a little surprised by this string of lights. It all started right with the case. It's a lot thicker and sturdier than any box I've seen from Neewer before. It easily handles everything that comes in the kit and provides some protection for the kit. The build quality of the lights is also better than any other Neewer light I've seen. They are mostly metal, not super thin metal. In fact, they appear to be powerful lights that last longer than a few shoots, which is about the same amount of time it took their other lights to survive. The package does not include a remote control. However, they have a mobile app to control these lights that can be used. It's nothing spectacular, but it gets the job done. Light stands are regular cheap custom light stands, but they are an improvement over the light stands they used to sell. The fact that they include soft boxes is a good thing. However, installing these things is a huge pain. You will need to remove the barn door to attach them and you will need a screwdriver to do this. It does not matter, because if you always want to use softboxes, just leave the barn door unplugged. Just something to note. They don't actually soften the light because they're not that much larger than the bulbs themselves, but they do help remove the shadows you get from the individual LED beads. Don't buy these lamps hoping for super accurate colors. What I mean is that you do this at first, but like other lights this color will tend to drift a bit after it's been on for a while. Note the price here and that you get 2 bulbs in this kit. It's the perfect light for things like backlighting. For around $300 you get enough power to light the background for your average scene. If you just need some base color,
