I added a photo studio and 1X1 (ft) LED panels. Bought 3 of these softboxes. They unfold like a typical reflector (elastic fabric with an annoying flexible steel edge). This one has two headbands with stretched fabric in between and both headbands are built in. The magnetic rods that keep the softbox functional and stable are very clever. After flipping back one of these blocks (with a lot of effort), I'm convinced that, if I do this too often, the rims buckle, so I just flatten them and carry them in my suitcase, where I take all my lighting gear for photo/video shoots. If you're not willing to leave it unfolded, I suggest you find another diffuser. I just fold them (flat) and put them in my equipment closet to use at home. Or if I just leave them assembled in the studio between jobs. The radiation quality with the Neewer 660 panels is quite good. The panels come with a plastic diffuser, but it's still very bright and creates a clear hotspot on objects. With these softboxes it's a different (and better) solution.
