For me, photography started out as a relaxing hobby that to my surprise turned into a second very rewarding career. As much as I love the editing process, I was often frustrated when I received a printout from my lab that didn't match my screen image. Or when I started editing on my laptop and the image looked different when I went back to edit on my desktop monitor. I felt like I was wasting so much time and it was a creative high. With ColorChecker Display Pro, I was able to ensure that all monitors in my workflow are properly calibrated, and I'm sure what I see on screen is what I end up getting when I order prints. I get much better shadow detail, no color cast, purer whites, better skin tones. Brilliant! Some important points: • All my monitors match! (Both my desktop monitors and my laptop.) I used to feel like I was looking at a wall of TVs in an electronics store. You know where everyone looks different. No longer. They all fit together. And the sizing process for each one only takes a few minutes (and totally gives me breathing room since the actual sizing process has that zen quality to it). I'm a perfectionist, so I use a new purpose every two weeks. It's worth it. ! • The ccProfiler software has basic and advanced modes. It was very easy to get started, and then once I got the hang of it, I added more advanced features to further optimize my monitors. • The intelligent ambient light control measures and adjusts my monitor.” The brightness is based on the lighting in my very bright home studio.
