Great product

Got this after looking at a few reviews. I originally bought a cheaper version designed for point and shoot cameras. When I received the Black Widow holster, I found the holster itself to be a little clunky, and while it definitely does its job well, it's not as minimal as I expected. However, this is no blow to this purchase. The Black Widow holster itself came with a pin to screw into my camera's tripod mount, which also worked as intended. The problem was that what I was looking for was something minimal, but also gave me additional functionality for attaching and detaching a tripod and also gave me the ability to wear the camera on my hip when I needed to be hands-free. However, I'm not a professional photographer and only use it for sightseeing, so getting a "complete system" isn't that important. However, to make things a little more discreet and easier to put on and take off, I'll probably switch from a Black Widow holster to a Spiderlight holster. That being said, the Spiderlight record was the perfect fit for what I wanted. I bought it with the quick release clip and use both with my Ultrapod as shown in the photos. As you can see I'm carrying a Canon EOS M6 with a Rokinon 12mm lens. With most lenses, this doesn't give me any problems with the fit. Something sticks out, but that doesn't bother me. However, I have two adapters that I use for EF lenses. One of those adapters is the Viltrox M2 SpeedBooster adapter, which allows me to use full-frame lenses while maintaining almost the same field of view as a full-frame sensor. However, the Speedbooster has a tripod mount on the bottom and sticks out just enough for the Spiderlight plate to prevent the Speedbooster from snapping into the camera mount. At first I tried removing what appeared to be a removable tripod mount from the Speedbooster, but it feels like the screws have been glued on from the inside. Even if it wasn't, I decided it was better to find another solution than removing the screws. So when I looked at the underside of the Spiderlight plate, I saw two tiny black screws that kept the plate itself from moving back a little on the camera. Once those screws were removed (I didn't see the point of them. They didn't hold anything) I was able to move the plate back just enough to give the speedbooster enough play to close. Otherwise I had no problems. With that, and while it works really well with the Black Widow holster, I'll eventually switch to the Spiderlight holster and probably move the Black Widow holster into my patrol belt backpack for the time I want to take my camera with me. work with me
