I was hoping for a lot more from these lights based on previous reviews. They aren't bright enough for videos. You can list the two together to try and balance this type of work. But they're too small, cast harsh shadows, and don't have enough power for general lighting. I was planning to only use them for accent colors in the background of the video but the barn doors create a weird gradient shadow that makes me want to remove them entirely, but I need to shape the light somehow. The app sucks, but it's serviceable if you're not too picky. I do not know. I'm not particularly fond of them. I wouldn't recommend them to everyone (beginners only). I wish I had spent the money on a different LED monoblock and gels.
