Review on 📷 Canon EOS-1DX Mark II Digital SLR Camera (Body Only) by Michael Boyle

I've had mine for a week now. I shoot amateur mixed martial arts, a fast-paced sport that takes place in low light. For the last 5 years I have been shooting with the Canon 1dMkIV which has been great for this purpose. I didn't switch to the classic 1Dx because the step wasn't big enough, not with a good working camera in hand. The MkII was a big step and I made it. I will not repeat all the statistics and numbers. These are great and they are all over the internet. I filmed an event on Saturday night and have a few pics to share if this site accurately shows them. The autofocus is precise and fast, the colors are great and it works like a charm in the dark through the chain link fence. These images were shot at ISO 5000-8000, 1/500, f3.2 or f3.5 and processed in Lightroom much like I always process combat images. There is noise cancellation, but not very much. I did not take any lab test images, these are actual production images. Here's what the flagship camera does and how it's actually used. Update: It's been a while, I'm still shooting fights with my MarkII, it's still a fantastic camera. The controls are basically the same as the previous Canon flagship I've owned, but there are differences. The menus vary and as with any camera, it takes time to learn how to use them to the maximum. I'll get there I've added some new battle pics as well as some photos from the Predator photoshoot.
