Review on 🌬️ Enhance Airflow in Your Jeep Wrangler YJ & TJ with RAMPAGE PRODUCTS 5305 Dark Smoke Acrylic Air Scoop by Paul Dahl

First of all I would like to say that it fits my 2004 TJ very well, is easy to install and looks very cool. I read in several reviews that the adhesive comes off quickly, sometimes within two weeks. I've used it all summer and haven't had this problem. My guess is they didn't clean the hood before installing the shovel or tried to install it multiple times. While it's easy to fix if you're not trusting the car glue anymore, they are self-tapping screws. I'm curious how the trowel and glue hold up in winter and whether the weather affects the bonding in any way. If so, I'll update my review here. In terms of scoop functionality, I've noticed a pretty decent difference in my AC performance, and I'm sure I'll see the same in the heat. As for keeping the engine cool I can't tell you, I haven't noticed a difference so I can only assume it helps to ventilate the engine bay. Pros: Looks cool, got a few compliments from fellow Jeepers. Improved conditioner / heat resistance. Ease of installation. Disadvantages: Possible detachment of the adhesive. Picks up leaves and other dirt. If you want to maintain improved airflow, you need to keep the vent clean. May affect wiper nozzles on some models where the nozzles are closer to the air vent and windshield, although TJ is unaffected.
