You can see that most other popular compresses start to heat up within 20 minutes of being microwaved, but gradually lose that time. Other masks tend not to be as snug as this mask. This mask adapts to the shape of the eyes. This is important as a mask that is too large tends to overheat the eye area. This causes the delicate skin under the eyes to become red, irritated and prone to wrinkles. Also, there is room for user error. This mask must not be too hot.
