Great item for garage storage

It does the job! It's plastic; but looks pretty sturdy. I would not recommend your child sitting on the bike when standing on the stand. My son has been using it for over 2 months and so far so good. My son can break anything! He hasn't broken it yet so I give the product a thumbs up! By the way great price. I would order another one if needed. Good product!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Upgradeable

I fell and can't get up!

Weak weak stand This item works if you balance your bike perfectly. Touch her in the lightest way and she will fall. I spent a lot of time building my bike with this stand. The bike is currently in a heap on the ground and this stand is going to the junkyard to join other products that promise great things but bring heartache and disappointment.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Weak but does the job.

Withdrawn the rating and changed it to 1 star. It's almost impossible (if you look closely) that the spokes of the steering wheel or the switches aren't abutting the plastic. In the long run, this leads to damage. I have returned the item. Original Review: Works great on 650x23 and 700x26. My only concern is that the wheel needs to be set up perfectly on a stand so there is little or no pressure on the derailleur or spokes.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some small things

Kinda light and cheap, but it actually works.

I had to return it because I scratched the knitting needle covers (if you have knitting needle covers). It's plastic, and plastic can be sharp. Since it wobbles a bit and the bike tends to lean to one side or the other, the actual stand ruined some of my spoke covers. If I didn't have them I would be very concerned as the sharp plastic edge shouldn't severely affect the spoke of the aluminum rim.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Mostly crappy in bike racks and racks

I have about 10 of these and there are 4 combinations of nuts and bolts in each for a total of 40 combinations or 80 pieces. About 50% of the hardware threads were defective or misaligned. Screw heads that weren't snapped off made it easy, but that could be a symptom of a thread problem. I had to go to a hardware store and replace almost all the equipment. You get what you pay for. Otherwise they are light and unobtrusive for stationary bikes.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great portable stand at a great price!

We needed a small portable bike rack that could be used in our garage to save space and provide easy access to bikes. Did some research and found these RAD bike racks and they looked like they fit the bill. As soon as I received them, they were out of the box and set up in minutes. Very easy assembly. They can be adapted to both mountain bikes and road bikes and that's exactly what I was looking for. I am very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone who wants a strong, lightweight…

Pros
  • High test results for support and durability
Cons
  • Upgrade Availability

Works well enough - home storage and organization

I use this for my 10 year old son's mountain bike. It works well enough, but we use it to park the front wheel against the garage wall, not the rear wheel as shown in the picture (to be honest I didn't notice that detail when I bought it). However, children pull the bike into the garage and just park it, they will not take any extra steps to use it as shown in the picture. Perfect for long term parking. I wouldn't trust it for long term parking with an expensive road bike though as it has been…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Who would have thought that plastic could stand up to a bicycle

Who would have thought that something made of plastic could stand up to a children's bike?! To be honest I was pretty skeptical but all the rave reviews said it works and it works. I put my son's heavy bike (seriously why do they make kids bikes so heavy?) on the front wheel forward and it sits straight like a charm. All day, all night, until he rides it again. The only sad thing is that being plastic it will hold the bike but won't stay in place when the bike is gone. So what happens is that…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Too big for my 7 year old 18 " BMX bike

I thought this would fit my son's Mongoose brand BMX bike which doesn't have a side stand. We wanted something that would make garage parking more convenient. While the tire is a perfect width fit, the side supports are too high so when parking, the bolts on the sides of the wheels support it instead of the wheel. This can be confusing so look at the pictures to see what I mean. The stand itself was very easy to assemble, very solid and looks like very high quality plastic. It works well enough

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
