Waste of Money for my opinion

Through trial and error, I found that this product does not perform as advertised. The only pro is that the instructions were easy to follow. The con is that it did not improve the temperature conditioning in my car in any way. Save your money and look for other options.

Pros
  • Accurately measures temperature for optimal equipment conditioning
Cons
  • May require additional equipment or installation costs

2011 Corvette GS Hotfix

The sensor is an exact replacement for the OEM unit in my Corvette. The fan in the original sensor didn't work and made a lot of noise. The fan was especially noisy when starting the car when it was cold outside. Replacing the sensor took about an hour, and most of the time was spent gathering tools and unpacking things. The fan in the new sensor is quiet.

Pros
  • Country of Origin: China
Cons
  • Update Availability

My customer was annoyed by the slight hum from this outside temperature sensor. I've decided to move it (remember how you do this as it will affect the accuracy of your automatic cabin temperature control). That fixed the noise. They can also be contaminated with micro-dust, so careful application of compressed air is sufficient.

Pros
  • Ensures GM Quality, Reliability and Longevity
Cons
  • Some Difficulties
