ACDelco GT139L Original Equipment Locking Review

Works great, turn left to unlock, then turn cover, turn right and remove key before cover is completely removed. Easy drain, good quality, no more leaking or strong smell of gasoline. I recommend.

I bought a more expensive AC Delco gas cap with lock, but I couldn't get the key after locking the unit. Returned it and bought this item which has larger keys which are much easier to manipulate and use when locking off a GM auto gas tank.

But they were dealer quality and worked out of the box lol Me will consider buying the same for the rest of my GMC/Chevy I thought the price was a little high $15 would be a lot more reasonable so I deducted a star

This was perfect for my 1993 40th Anniversary Edition Corvette. Since the gas door itself doesn't latch, I wanted the gas cap to close to keep everything secure. This lid works great and is well constructed. The lock works great and is easy to toggle on and off when full.

This is a General Motors OEM gas cap that was delivered quickly and at a great price compared to the dealer. Unfortunately, this product did not meet my request and I had to return it. My return was processed quickly and I was happy with the transaction. It did not work on Gmc Envoy Xuv SLT 5.3L AWD.

I wanted to wait 9 months to see if it works before writing a review. I sprayed it with Boeshield T-9 anti-humidity spray when first installed. It still runs perfectly and smoothly with weekly gas fills. I drilled a hole on the side of the thumb grip 1/4" from the lock barrel and used thick fishing line to make a "cap tie" so it would be easier to find after filling. I wish the manufacturer had a pre-drilled hole provided so that the cap can easily be lost at the gas station.
