My daughter is 7 years old and lanky. I bought medium shorts for her basketball class. Pink is a nice pink and not transparent. I have 2 problems - the length is a bit short. The medium size fits loosely on it, but I can tie the laces inside to make it tighter. I also had another order for a small size but it was too short for her legs. So it had to be returned.

I ordered these in a hurry as I needed shorts for my daughter ASAP so I didn't read the reviews as carefully as I should have! It's clean! There is no way I can fit my 8 year old daughter in this on the basketball court unless I'm wearing cycling shorts underneath! So disappointed! Save yourself the inevitable return and don't even worry about it! Only gave 1 star because I couldn't give a zero rating.

Some people say they are transparent, but I think you have to make a real effort to see through them. She wears nothing underneath but underwear and we didn't have any transparency issues at all. They are also of great length, just a few inches above the knees.
