Five stars for the fuel system

I have had an Airraid PowerAid throttle body gasket on my 2014 GMC Sierra 5.3L for almost 2 years. The assembly of this part is great, installation was easy and the extra throttle response and air intake song is fine. I love this product. 5 Stars

    2016 Silverado 5.3 Z71

Surprisingly noticeable difference in throttle response. You also notice a noticeable increase in fuel consumption because the truck wants to run on four cylinders a little more often. I'm not sure if it's worth the $130 price tag, but I can see and feel a noticeable difference from my truck.

As described for the fuel system

Well made and very easy to install. Is it important? I really do not know it. I installed this with CAI and Cat Back exhaust so I just have to take the manufacturer's word for it. I think the price is quite high for a machined piece of metal with four screws and a gasket, but overall I'm happy with the purchase.

    Pros
    • Free for educational purposes
    Cons
    • Has defects

So, I've already done the Araid technique. Added actuator through wire 6, programmed governor setting, now throttle body gasket. Driving around the block felt ok, the advanced drive-by-wire settings felt ok. I'm most interested in the MPG increase, hello May, we'll see. Fits perfectly, all parts included, very easy assembly.

Decent product in fuel injection system

Can't tell if it makes much of a difference as I installed it with a K&N cold air intake. I hear a soft whistle. This is clearly not a turbo sound. With that and CAI, the fuel economy on my 2017 Silverado Z71 dropped from 16.5 to 18.5. Easy installation. Just make sure the manifold bolts are evenly and criss-cross tightened (i.e. don't fully tighten one if the others are loose).

    • Easy install
    Cons
    • Was damaged

    Good product - 2014 GMC Sierra 1500

I already had a K&N pickup and have had it for a year now. I added this later so I can tell you if I feel any difference. And I feel! Sometimes I hesitated to accelerate, but everything is smooth now. Acceleration has improved and shifting gears has also become easier. Almost like I'm in the mood. My truck has done 77,000 miles and now runs better than new.

    No change to 14 Silverado

I had one of these on my 2003 Silverado 5.3 and could tell a difference in the low rpm range with added torque. I bought it for my Silverado 5.3 from 2014 and I don't see any difference, not one bit. I know some people who swear by it and it worked on my old truck but not on this one. That's why I gave at least 3 stars because I know they work but not for my app.

    Super easy installation!

This product is quick and easy to install. I'm curious as to what the results may or may not be and will update this review once found. I started the timer when I opened the box and stopped it when I closed the hood after cleaning. Installation took 15 minutes 17.98 seconds with no rush and just basic knowledge of vehicle parts identification and maintenance. For those wanting to experiment with the possibility of positive outcomes, or just want to teach their child a thing or two about…

I would not recommend an Airaid TBS power supply for a 2015 Silverado

I was not impressed by this product. I can't tell any difference and it was a waste of money. I would like to get advice from other buyers. I have a 2006 Silverado that I bought a Helix Power Tower for. I noticed a difference in throttle response when I put these on. First I put a Gibson exhaust on my truck, then a K&N intake kit, then a Helix power tower, and finally a Hypertech performance programmer. The most noticeable change I noticed with the Helix Power Tower was that the air intake…
