Did you know there are different types of phone jacks? I didn't and the first one I ordered wasn't the type I needed. One simple connection is all you need to connect your phone, printer and computer to the same phone jack. This one was perfect! This jack does what I need and you can't beat the price!

Contrary to some reviews, this doesn't work on dual line phones. I had a duplex jack but wanted to add a fax line to two two-line phones in my office. Since it was a 4 wire connector I assumed it would work. Unfortunately, that didn't happen as both phone lines lit up when I picked up the phone or turned on the speakerphone.

I live on two coasts and reside in California and Florida. I bought this for my home in Florida because I use both landline and 2 cellphone lines. I wanted to replace my existing triple adapter (landline, fax and answering machine) in my bedroom. The product was easy to use and essentially replaced my existing adapter which broke and did not fit securely into the wall adapter.

I upgraded my DSL modem and found that the new modem does NOT have a phone line. I had an extra DSL filter, but back then there was only one phone jack and I needed a solution. This splits a phone line into 3 outlets. I connected a DSL filter to one and connected my phone to it. The other goes to my DSL modem.
