My set of 40 came in a very nice box almost as a gift. The easels are individually wrapped. I immediately disassembled 7 pieces and lined them up in a row. they were perfectly straight. I found one that was slightly wrong but I was able to fix it or not worry. If you clamp at the top, the easel stands on its own and does not need a chain. I will probably order more as they make a great gift with a photo or graphic. Very, very good stuff!

I bought these to show off the small tiles that I have cast designs on. While they're the perfect size for, say, a 4 or 6 inch tile or piece of art, they don't have a tether or chain to ensure the legs don't get splayed or sloppy. So I just attached a short piece of string, rope or cheap chain - all three worked - and voila, problem solved! I also plan to varnish some of them to further improve their looks. Excellent price and usefulness for intended purpose.

you have nothing to prevent the backrest from breaking. So as soon as you put an object on a cross support, it collapses. I had to glue it in the open position. The wood is very rough, not smooth, so you have to sand it to avoid splinters. The cross is glued at an angle, so anything you put on it will tilt to the left. I trust the Arteza brand, but not this one. My husband has to grind a leg to keep my mini paintings from falling off. I had to glue the top to keep it from falling apart. Where's
