A Must-Have for DIYers

This tool has been an absolute lifesaver in my DIY projects. Through trial and error, I found that this mandrel was the best fit for my grinding and sanding discs, resulting in a smooth and efficient operation. Its durable build ensures longevity, making it a worthwhile investment for any DIY enthusiast. The only drawback is its limited compatibility with certain discs. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this tool for its superior performance and durability.

Pros
  • Durable, efficient, improves grinding and sanding operations
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with certain discs

Will not fit Astro 1442

They are tough and will break if too much force is applied to them. I didn't know that Astro makes multiple Rivnut weapons, so I ordered the wrong one.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Fragile but works if you're careful

I bought the basic set about a year ago and this is the second time I have had to replace one of these spike/grommet pairs as the grommet breaks off you not paying attention. Of course, I use a Milwaukee 18V brushless drill, but I have a very light grip. The key here is to use a very light finger on the trigger and stop when you see the back of the rivet bend a little - if you wait until the rivet is really tight you'll break. part of the nose.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of style
