I wasn't expecting an iPhone, but assumed it would at least work.

Bought this phone to use as an emergency phone at home. It's a fairly simple and time-tested design (old enough to have had a few growing up) and I didn't think to try it other than listen to the horn until I had an emergency. and I couldn't dial the number. None of the buttons work. Absolute waste of space and money and too late to return. Sad to admit, a month ago I wished I had had a minor emergency.

Excellent quality wall phone

Great value for money; replaces an identical phone we've had for over 15 years. The call is fully adjustable. Very easy to wall mount (read the simple instructions for an easy one step method to make it a wall phone). The cord is a bit short, but for less than $10, you can't beat this phone. There is no reason to buy a more expensive wall phone. We particularly like that the numbers are in the handset rather than on the wall unit that holds the handset.

  • handy item

Blast from the past!

Nothing beats copper for clear voice and power outages! This is one of those indestructible relics of POTS technology from the last century that I haven't given up on. (During the ten-day apocalypse that followed Hurricane Wilma, my dead phone line was my only remaining connection to the civilized world!). This replacement will probably outlive me! This phone is similar to the old standard AT&T Trimline phone but lacks WALL MOUNTING information/instructions. (See Appendix). There is a plasticโ€ฆ

Great landline phone with touchscreen! Bought at least four of these!

5 stars! This is the best landline phone I've seen on the market in the last 18 years! I have already bought at least four of these phones. It's well designed, well built, and most importantly, strong and heavy enough to stand firmly on a desk or other surface. Even better than many competing desktop touchscreen models. Phones, this phone does NOT require any of the batteries that are so common on other phones because they are needed to power all sorts of silly and unwanted bells and whistlesโ€ฆ

  • Crumpled

DO NOT BUY if it's on the wall

Okay so the phone itself worked and the sound quality seemed good. It mounts to the wall fairly easily, however, inserting the headset into the bracket is flat and slanted. So if you hang the phone vertically on the wall, the head seat just slides onto the floor. Until another branded replacement arrives, I store the headset on its stand with a strip of tape on it. Without the strap, the headset will fall on the floor, you'll hear annoying "hook" noises, etc. So yeah, if you're looking for aโ€ฆ

Bad luck with those AT&T phones

One of those ATT&T phones in my house broke after years of use. But then I ordered two, so I found the old one in stock and hooked it up. The device seemed to work, but everyone told me that the sound was extremely distorted. OK. I can't return this one so I just ordered a new one from Revain. Connected a new one but there is no beep. I have four other similar devices in my house so finding a replacement was easy to find the culprit. It turned out to be another bad phone. Base and cable are ok.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Big and bulky

93 year old mum loves them - until now ;-)

Seems like a good basic phone for my 93 year old mum. There are no batteries to replace or recharge, which of course means the numbers aren't very bright. I have not programmed phone numbers for speed dialing. Mom doesn't seem to understand the instructions for most phone options, so this goes back to 1970s-era basics. She may feel better about this phone than seemingly basic VTech phones. The 25-foot cord (optional) also seems to give Mom a reassuring sense of familiarity. There is no OFFโ€ฆ

Light, simple home phone

I contacted Revain to buy a home phone because it occurred to me that I could tell my child all day to call 911 in an emergency, but that would be pointless if they couldn't find my cell phone can to call it! I needed a thin phone that could be wall mounted without additional equipment. I wanted one that didn't rely on AC power (in the event of an emergency/power outage and without another cord dangling). I stumbled across this phone and decided to give it a try as the price is great and Iโ€ฆ

This isn't your dad's AT&T 210

I have an older AT&T 210 that I've owned since the 1990's. The build quality of this particular version is very high. It is durable, has a good weight and above all it is very reliable. It's the kind of phone that lets you bang nails in all day, come back at night, and still make calls with ease. However, the new version I recently ordered from Revain is vastly inferior to mine. older. The new version looks very cheap. This is a light pen. The speaker audio is loud/static at times and theโ€ฆ
