Autoglym SRP500US Super Resin Polish Review

It's amazing what this thing can do. I was skeptical at first, but the result completely shocked me. My 10 Crown Victoria had a matte black finish. With just one coat, the car looks like it was professionally detailed. I applied with a sponge I bought at the dealership and wiped with a microfiber cloth. Comes off easily. I ended up using about 1/4 of the bottle. Highly recommended.

Starting with clay, then polishing. The paint is quite thin, but cool. Apply several coin-sized strokes to the orbit at once, working in sections. In the first photo the passenger side after polishing and the driver before. You can see all the swirls before polishing. The second photo after polishing the entire car (spent a little less than 1/2 bottle per SUV). It brought my '99 Grand Cherokee back to life. Highly recommended!

The name of this product led me to believe it was designed to polish resin. Apparently I was wrong. I sanded some resin castings to completely zero effect. Maybe I'll try it on my headlight covers Tuesday night. In the meantime I would like to know how the polish of the resin fits into the image of this material. I think this is a standard silver polish in new packaging. Smells and feels just like silver polish. That's why I say it's silver polishing. No resin polish.

I detail the site and have been doing this for many years. I've been trying the majors and recently had a lot of success with Glare. A friend gave me a sample and WOW I was blown away, I just ordered a huge bottle and can't wait to get my car remodeled. I also use Chemical Guys WAC_808_16 High Gloss Hybrid V7 Optical Select Sealant Spray and Quick Detailer (16 oz). I want to try Auto Glym shine booster. Highly recommended

I didn't really expect much because the surface of the roof and front hood has become dull from the sun and has brought no improvement. But undamaged painted surfaces showed no improvement. I applied the product to the front doors but not the back doors so I could compare them side by side. Finished doors look beautiful and shine well as other reviews have noted, but so do unfinished doors. I used it on my fiberglass canoe. Canoes have not been polished for years. I cleaned the cake thoroughly with a car wash and water. Allow to dry and apply Nufinish on one side and Autoglym on the other. I've been using Nufinish for probably 20 years and was skeptical to try anything else.
