Disappointing Performance from Strainer

I purchased this Filtration product from the Industrial and Scientific section and was left unsatisfied. As a result of using this product, I found that it did not effectively filter out debris and clogged easily. While the strainer is made from durable polypropylene, it was not able to withstand the pressure of industrial use. The only positive aspect was the easy-to-use female connector. Overall, I would not recommend this strainer for heavy-duty applications.

Pros
  • Durable and made of polypropylene material that is resistant to corrosion and chemical damage.
Cons
  • May require frequent cleaning to ensure optimal performance and prevent clogging.

Great concept, bad quality control?

A simple screen was required to filter well water before it enters our irrigation system. It looks well built, is easy to install and maintain, and offers plenty of screen options. Unfortunately after 1 week of use it appears to have started to leak at the seam in the resin mold itself. I'll take it apart and reinstall to make sure it really is a case seam leak, but it looks like a manufacturing defect!

Pros
  • Y Screen Filter
Cons
  • Some Bugs

Banjo Quality

I work with farm equipment a lot and I would say that over 90% of the commercial users I have worked with use this type of banjo screen. I think that's because it's probably the best strainer for the money that I've come across, at least. Other pluses would be that it is made in the USA and parts are readily available. There are better and cheaper ones out there, but I don't know where to find better cheaper ones.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
