Beadaholique JW408/S 50-Pack of Silver Wire and Thread Protectors, 0.019-Inch Review

I've been using these for years to make items last longer. For example ID lanyards because they are worn every day, or bracelets because they often get caught on things. You will never need this level of security for, say, a necklace or earrings that you only wear occasionally.

These little keepers are a big help in keeping your pearl jewelry alive. I just wish I knew about them sooner. This prevents the wire from stretching, wearing out and breaking. You will really enjoy that your work becomes more powerful and light-hearted.

These wire covers are great for making necklaces or bracelets. The wire or cord is passed through the clamp, then through the guard and clasp, and back through the clamp. The bead's crimp is crimped, which keeps the clasp and protective case secure. This is done at both ends of the necklace or bracelet. The protective cover protects the bead wire, thread, cord or fire cord.

These are nice little things, very well made but a bit tricky to use. And I'm not sure they'll be of any use to me at all since I'm using a flexible metal wire for beating. If you use a pearl necklace, this is a really great product. You don't have to worry about the string rubbing against it and eventually breaking because the metal protects that. They're very small and expensive for what they are, but they make your pieces look beautiful.
