Works best in interior care products

I have used this product on my leather sofa and recliners. These pieces of furniture had worn spots that needed "attention". Oddly enough, I heard about this product in a crime novel I was reading where a character in the book said it was good for removing wear and tear on leather. I had never heard of this so I decided to order a small bottle to see if it would work. This is fantastic for extending the life of your leather furniture. I suppose it works well with other leather goods too, like…

A good product. Poor quality bottle.

Foot Oil is great. There's a reason he has such a dedicated fan base and has been popular for 100 years. It works. I use this horse skin care oil on my sling block. The horse fur is too hard. The skin of the slingshot block should deform slightly when the knife blade is drawn across it. Foots oil softened the horse's skin sufficiently, but it took several applications. I took off a star because the valve cap on the bottle always drips and runs off to the side. It's okay, but it's a hassle to…

Use a casserole dish and a silicone brush

I poured the first paint, poured it out of the bottle and rubbed it with my hands. My hands were very soft afterwards, but the bottle smeared some oil that ran down the top of the spout and down the sides. Lay down an old towel while you work. The second time I used a mold and a silicone brush. Much easier to keep clean and manage pouring. Great product and I love the results. My work gloves were very stiff because they got wet. They are much more flexible and practical. Photo right after…

Amazing, great, but use gloves!

It did exactly what it promised. I bought a leather desk pad that doubles as a desk protector and has a white stain on it (someone thought that painting nails and using acetone on skin was safe if careful. I was wrong). .I made a huge white spot. After 1 even application, the skin darkens a little, but not too noticeable. I only see it because you see how you use it. It adds shine and DEFINITELY covers the mark. I only needed one application. I definitely recommend it. The only drawback is the…

helped restore Vasque Sundowners

Bought my Vasque Sundowners from REI in Albuquerque in 1997 to go hiking. They have served me well since I climbed Half Dome in Yosemite three times, other trails in NorCal and Oregon, and even went into the Philippine jungle a few times. Also, when I first bought them, I didn't do any additional leather work or impregnation. I've been doing some stuff in Maui lately and I've noticed my sundowners are looking pretty dry and battered. So I got Neatsfoot Oil and after the treatment my vasques are

Works best on unsealed vegetable tanned leather

I tried it on a Lucky cognac/brown leather jacket that I wanted to darken. It did not work. It is air conditioned but does not darken at all. I think it has something to do with how the leather has already been treated. The jacket already shines a little. But it looked great on vegetable tanned leather. Transformed my cherry red clogs into a beautiful burgundy. The photo shows what a layer looked like immediately after application, but after drying it became softer / lighter. A total of two…

I like everything EXCEPT the hat

I got her other conditioner and then bought a bag that I wanted to black out. I like their other product so I tried this one. ADVANTAGES: - Easy to apply, no streaks or uneven results. - The skin of the wallet was already nice and soft, but this made it more elastic and more worn. This added an even softer and "worn" feel. Small things have a big impact. I finished the wallet with about 4 coats and used the oil for the second wallet and I have plenty of oil left over for many projects. CONS:…
