Excellent line. I like the way it adheres to the fabric. I'm confused how to rotate it but figured it out. But you have to watch the video. It was expensive for a ruler but I needed help and it really helps to get perfect half square triangles.

I learned about this ruler and how to use it in my quilting class yesterday. That's great! It lines up your square so you have a perfect sized half square triangle Only downside if the creator of this ruler has some basic instructions that would be helpful The teacher in my class was the one who showed/taught me how to use this ruler.

Honestly I bought it because I saw a YouTube video of a woman using it. This lady flew over a bunch of half square triangles she was making. Too good to be true, right? Damn, damn! One day I figured out how to properly place a ruler on a semi-square triangle to cut it. Everything is fine. I'm glad I did, it really helps.

This product really works, although it's expensive for a square piece of plastic. But someone came up with this idea, and it's worth something. I'm struggling to get my half square triangles perfect and I think this will help a lot! I saw a comment that if you ironed the seams it would work --- I disagree. You must iron to the dark side for this to work. You can also use this size for small squares (only 6.5 inches and under), so don't buy a really small size. Watch tutorials on YouTube.

To me, this is the gold standard for block trimmers, especially HST. That's because (a) it's incredibly easy to use and (b) it's 100% accurate. If you're thinking of orienting the lock correctly (the Bloc Loc logo is on the lighter side or on the side where you pressed your OT seam allowance), it's almost impossible to go wrong.
