An absolute must for every do-it-yourselfer.

Working on my cars can be tedious, especially when a bolt breaks or is too rusty. This is such a handy tool to have at home so I can properly measure nuts and bolts before going to the hardware store or ordering custom bolts online.

Pros
  • Convenient hanging: This ID wire rope with loop for hanging on the wall in the workshop or garage next to the tool box.

Works but design could be better

I also resell and getting a threaded item as well is the most frustrating thing and you have to guess what size screw is needed. does not work well when the threaded nut is inserted into the furniture. I cut the cord and keep the parts in a pouch which works great but the only complaint is the design.

Labels barely legible

Silver picks must be held at right angles in good light to be read at all. Even some of the blacks are tough. I chose this one because it had better lettering than the other options. But it goes back into the box and back into storage.

A good tool, but not exactly useful, permanently attached to the cable.

Here is the result. If you *just* need to sort out a bunch of loose screws/bolts and nuts, these gauges will come in very handy as long as they stay on the cable. Screws, bolts, nuts, or internally threaded holes that are in a fixed location, these calibration parts are almost useless. That's because you can't twist/turn/turn them *on* a screw/bolt or *in* an internally threaded hole once they're attached to the cable.
